Lineup/Game Cards

Divisions U10 and above should always have a game card for games to track player time and substitutions. Game cards should have player names and jersey numbers, listed in order of jersey number for easy reference for the referee.

While you **can** fill them out manually, there is a way for coaches to print them.

Note - if you are 14U and using free substitutions, this hack won’t work, and you’ll have to fill out yourself from a template.

1. Access Your Team page

  • Login to ayso109.org

  • Go to the “Volunteer” tab

  • Under your name, you’ll see your team name hyperlinked (by default it will be something like BU8-3 or GU12-1)

  • Click that name to get to the team page

  • Click the “Edit Roster” button

2. Add Player Jersey Numbers

* You’ll only need to do this step the first time you generate game cards. You won’t need to do it in subsequent weeks.

  • For each player, enter their jersey # in BOTH the “No.” field AND the “Order” field (that will enable it to sort correctly).

  • Click the “Update” button at the bottom when you’re done.

3. Print

Click on the “Print Team Line Up” link at the top of the page

That will generate a beautiful lineup card, that looks something like the below, which you can then print (ideally on card stock) and bring to your games. Each printout will contain 4 cards.
